By adding Economy Bot to your Discord server and using its features, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the bot.

2. Bot Description

Economy Bot is a Discord bot that provides:

  • A coin-based economy system
  • Games (Coinflip, Rock Paper Scissors, Dice Roll)
  • A shop to buy and sell items
  • Customizable user profiles
  • Leaderboards and statistics
  • Passive income from chat and voice activity

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the bot in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service
  • Not exploit, hack, or manipulate the bot or its systems
  • Not use the bot for harassment, scams, or illegal activities
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to bot systems or data
  • Respect other users and play fairly

4. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Cheat or exploit glitches for unfair advantages
  • Spam commands excessively
  • Attempt to distribute coins/items illegally
  • Use automated tools or bots to manipulate gameplay
  • Engage in fraud or scams using the economy system

5. Server Owner Responsibilities

Server owners agree to:

  • Provide notice to members if the bot is collecting data
  • Respect Discord's Terms of Service in how the bot is used
  • Not use the bot to facilitate illegal activities

6. No Warranty

The bot is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous uptime or availability
  • Error-free operation
  • Data persistence or backup
  • Performance or reliability

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of coins, items, or data
  • Bot unavailability or downtime
  • Incorrect functionality or bugs
  • Actions of other users
  • Indirect or consequential damages

8. Changes to the Bot

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify bot features, commands, or functionality
  • Change economy values, coin rates, or item prices
  • Take the bot offline temporarily or permanently
  • Wipe data if necessary for security or system reasons

9. Account Suspension

We may suspend or ban users who:

  • Violate these terms
  • Exploit bugs or glitches
  • Engage in fraud or scams
  • Violate Discord's Terms of Service
  • Engage in harassment or abuse

Suspensions are at our sole discretion with no guarantee of appeal.

10. Third-Party Services

This bot uses:

  • Discord API (subject to Discord's Terms)
  • Third-party database hosting
  • Third-party emoji/image services

We are not responsible for their outages or policy changes.

11. Intellectual Property

  • Economy Bot is owned by Firefly Designs
  • The bot's code, design, and features are protected intellectual property
  • Users may not redistribute, clone, or commercialize the bot

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of the bot constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, legal channels.

🤝 Acceptance of Terms

By using Meow Bot ("the Bot"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Bot. Your continued use of the Bot following any changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

🤖 Description of Service

Meow Bot is a Discord bot providing the following features:

  • Meow and Bark messaging features
  • Quote creation and retrieval system
  • Anonymous confession submission and logging
  • Twitch stream status tracking and notifications
  • Server-wide leaderboards and statistics
  • Welcome message customization
  • Reaction role assignment
  • Message broadcasting across servers
  • Reminders and scheduling

👤 User Responsibilities

Legal Compliance

You agree to use the Bot in compliance with all applicable laws and Discord's Terms of Service. You are solely responsible for your use of the Bot and any content you create through it.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to use the Bot to:

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or defame any person or group
  • Violate any person's privacy or intellectual property rights
  • Post illegal, infringing, or harmful content
  • Spam, flood, or disrupt server communication
  • Attempt to access, hack, or exploit the Bot's systems
  • Circumvent any safety features or restrictions
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

Content Responsibility

You are entirely responsible for any content you create through the Bot, including confessions, quotes, and messages. The Bot creators are not responsible for user-generated content.

📝 User-Generated Content

Rights to Content

You retain all rights to content you create. However, by using the Bot to create or submit content, you grant the Bot operators a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute that content within Discord servers where you've submitted it.

Anonymous Submissions

Content submitted through the confession feature is treated as anonymous to end users but may be identifiable to server administrators through logs. Administrators are responsible for handling confessions appropriately.

Content Moderation

Server administrators reserve the right to remove or modify any content that violates server rules or these terms. The Bot creators reserve the right to remove content that violates Discord's Terms of Service.

⚠️ Disclaimer of Warranties

THE BOT IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. THE BOT CREATORS AND OPERATORS MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE BOT'S:

  • MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
  • UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
  • SECURITY OR PROTECTION FROM DATA LOSS

⚖️ Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BOT CREATORS AND OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
  • DAMAGES CAUSED BY THIRD PARTIES
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OR SECURITY BREACHES

This limitation applies even if the creators have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

💾 Data Storage and Retention

The Bot stores certain user data as described in the Privacy Policy, including:

  • User message counts (meows/barks)
  • Quote submissions and metadata
  • Confession submissions with associated user IDs
  • Server configuration settings
  • Twitch stream data
  • Leaderboard information

Data is retained for the functionality of the Bot and may be deleted at the discretion of server administrators.

🔧 Modification of Service

The Bot creators reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the Bot at any time with or without notice
  • Change features, functionality, or pricing
  • Update these Terms of Service at any time

Continued use of the Bot after modifications constitutes acceptance of new terms.

🚫 Termination

The Bot creators reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Bot if you violate these terms or engage in prohibited conduct. Server administrators may also restrict your use of the Bot within their servers.

⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

🤝 Disputes and Contact

🔗 Severability
